Project: Pig herbal medicine
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing humanitarian problem, with deaths due to AMR increasing every year. One major cause of AMR is the use of antibiotics in livestock such as pigs. However, limited alternatives exist for treating microbial infections in livestock. Stop scour is a guava leaf medicine for treatment of diarrhea in piglets.
This product is clinically tested and proven to have the same diarrhea treatment efficacy as antibiotics. It has less side effect for pigs, humans and the environment, saving antibiotics for the future.
